Battery life when streaming music

Hey guys, I'm considering buying this phone on the 35 bucks month plan from Virgin Mobile. I'll mainly be using this to stream music/radio. I have three questions:

1) How many hours could I get if I just stream and rarely turn the screen on?

2) Once I go over the 2.5 gig on virgin mobile and it slows down, will I still be able to stream music or will it be crappy sounding?

3) How is Virgin Mobile in general? What are your opinions?

Thanks!

Really depends on the signal strength, I was able to make a 3 hour trip on the highway streaming music and running Google navigation and ate up almost half my battery, I turned screen off and just let her talk to me though my car stereo.
Maps kept turning on my screen though

Okay, I am not sure how accurate this is, since as was said before the signal fluctuates while driving, but according to my battery monitor it estimates 6.13 hrs of online audio from a full charge (of an Anker 1900 mah battery). The estimates have been pretty accurate so far.

Of course, you could just use a car charger when on the move and a dock when stationary and not even worry about draining the battery;)

But as long as the screen is off, the battery life is pretty good--I haven't drained the battery in a day yet I don't think.

Battery life for me while streaming music has been pretty good but I only stream for about an hour and a half and then use my phone for YouTube, texting etc. The phone has always lasted me throughout the day for me at least but it varies from user to user. Data on the EVO V is actually unlimited at the moment so you shouldn't have to worry but as always it varies with your signal strength and traffic on that cell tower.

You can check out the Extended battery from Laza. I've been using it for a few months and get through a full day of playing audio on a single charge. I mostly play downloaded music/podcasts off the sd card, but do occasionally stream.
