Battery life

I am wondering if I have a bad battery on my phone. Today only after some texting(no phone calls, games, etc) my battery was at 40% 4 hours after unplugging. I leave sync off while unplugged. What are other Droid users average battery life?

Wow I usually go all day and have 40-60% left. And that's doing a little bit of everything...

Then again, Froyo supposedly improves battery life but I have seen little improvement over the "old" Android 2.1

Check in your settings to see what's draining you. Something is definitely not right if you're going through 60% of your battery in 4 hours.

Display was around 35% and system was at 15% if I remember correctly. After that its just other random Android items. Messaging, Dialer, Taskiller, Phone Idle, etc
