When on holiday I was down to just 70% after 48 hours. Only been used for a few texts and photos though. I guess it's the data usage that really hits the phone hard.

freddy got fingered? lol...i think im going to send mine in for dust too.@Drhyde, how much talk-time are you putting on that thing?
My battery life is great, as long as I'm not using it as a phone (voice calls).
My Nexus is on its way to HTC, I called them back and told them that I sent it in for the dust issue but that I had some more problems I was worried about, they said that no matter the reason I'm sending it in, that they will inspect every aspect of the phone including any power issues.
I hope they are being honest and not giving me the run-around. On any note, I've still got my fingers crossed, CROSSED, crossed.

is the little gmail unread badge a cyanogen thing too?
Figured Id chime in here a bit.
Got my phone on Sat and have been playing with it ever since. First day battery life was abysmal, maybe 10 hours or so and it conked out. Probably all my setting it up and whatnot.
Second day was a bit better, still getting used to trying different settings and stuff.
Today has been the best so far, took it off at 9ish and now have 20% left. Did quite a bit of web surfing and a few long phone calls.
All that being said, Im not entirely happy with the battery life when considering my blackberry bold would be at maybe 70% left at the end of my days with the same amount of texting, surfing and calls. However, with my blackberry, I had my bluetooth on ALL the time regardless. I have yet to turn the N1 on yet and sync it to my car. Cant imagine how much a drain that will be.
haha. i just posted that to be funny.LOL. I dont use car chargers. I expect my phones to at least last until I put it on the charger at night.
I guess there are some pretty wildly different battery results from people. I've had my phone on with its original charge for 3 1/2 days. I don't yet have a sim card but I left the antenna on to see how it affects the battery. I've been using the phone a lot on my home WIFI though. In total, my screen has taken 8% of the battery life and 90% has been eaten up by cell-standby. That is in stark contrast to what most people have been reporting (50-60% of battery life going into powering the screen). I'm probably using the screen a tad bit less than others but I have been using it a lot. Hopefully this indicates that my battery will last a hell of a long time once I actually have the sim (which I'm getting on Monday!).
are you getting up an noon?![]()
So yesterday was my best day yet since getting the phone on Saturday. I got an app that graphs my battery usage throughout the day and it seems to be charging faster and discharging slower.
I took my phone off the charger at 10am and when I put it on the charger last night at midnight I still had 40% left. I can deal with that.
i found that not using live wallpapers saves a lot of juice and allowing it to use "data roaming" it wasnt hunting for signal as much.
