Dunno about Prevail, but on my Warp I streamed live video over the cell phone link for a solid hour and still had something like 35% battery left. And that was after I had it on standby for about an hour before I started streaming.
It's got a 1600mAH battery. Power usage of any phone depends largely on what's running on your phone. Every active radio takes up power (wireless, WiFi, and GPS), so does the screen. So the less stuff you have transmitting and showing stuff on the screen the longer a charge will last.
Battery capacity overall goes better if you don't let the battery totally drain, so if you keep it charged up then the battery retains more of its overall capacity to store a charge in the long run.
More better than HTC EVO 4G on this subject.
