Battery Life

That is pretty cool. Hopefully the battery lasts long enough though to where you don't need the second battery to make it through a day.........

Battery life seems pretty good to me. I turned on phone @ half 7 this morning, i've had about 6 phones, a few texts and it's sitting on 83%. So that's 5 hours down 17%.

I haven't set up anything that properly syncs yet, like email etc. So judgement is to be properly reserved. But at this rate I don't seeing it having any issues lasting a day.

Battery life without 4G LTE is useless for VZW customers.

Everyone who has any appreciable understanding of current generation LTE technology will know what the Galaxy Nexus battery life with LTE will be(Extremely poor, ~half of what it gets during 3G). The only thing users didn't know is about how long the battery would last with typical 3G usage. CDMA uses a bit more battery than GSM but the extra battery capacity in the Verizon version could negate that difference.

that stat's are useless 36 hours of standby show me hours of screen time on i see many forums that it's about 3 or 4 hours that really bad battery life

Also, isn't there an option to turn off LTE?

Hi everyone. Anyone else's battery never saying it's 100% charged? Seems as though no matter how long I charge it at night I always wake-up to a battery that is at 99 or 98% full.

I unplugged mine at 7.30am today and it died at 9pm ive been on and off the internet all day few phone calls and about 50 texts (for the bloke whos never going to get a piece of mobile tech to do what he wants above) the screen on time was just under 4 hours.

Now, i use my phone more monday to friday but at this time i work so getting anything near 4 hours of time on the phone is practically impossible.

If i decided to go out for the day where i would be doing something other than playing with my phone every two minutes your going to easily get from one sleep to another.

You have to look at it in the real world in my opinion and this phone carries more than enough power to get you through the day.

I always carried a spare battery for my desire and may get on for my nexus which in theory should get you about 8 hours of screen on time. If your smashing through that every day you need to reasses your life...:D
