Root Battery life

I have only had this phone for 3 days and haven't really used it heavily yet. So far it seems like the battery life is great. I am just wondering if I will need to do any tweaks to save battery. What do you guys think? How long does your charge normally last?
 
So far I haven't tweaked the battery or the settings, but on a normal day I am able to keep the charge throughout the day. There are a few tips that I use that even not rooted users can use to save on battery life.

  • Keep data synchronization apps at a medium to high range, if the option is open, to prevent polling and getting nothing in return.
  • Turn on airplane mode if you aren't going to use the device. It prevents polling on apps that sync with data and prevents the searching of a network.
  • Don't use moving live wallpapers.
  • Set the screen brightness the lowest unless you need it higher.
  • Turn off the front key lights.

Try battery guru in the market is for Qcom phone and Qcom made that app
 
Thanks For the tips guys. I use tasker for things such as that. I had it all done on my other phone but I lost it when my phone got stolen. I think I will set it up for this phone. My battery saving profiles seem to work much better than any battery saving app I have tried.

Would you care to share the details of your battery saving profiles? I use tasker myself but haven't really got much use out of it other than simple tasks.

I am going to try to customize some profiles for this phone and I will share them.
 
If anyone is interested but doesn't use tasker I can try to make it as an app for them. Just post to let me know.
