Root battery not charging?

ok so my connect has been charging for about 5 hours since the battery died on me and so far its still on 5%.... does anyone have any idea of what going on? im on BOR. any advice is much appreciate

Make sure the charger isn't loose connecting to the phone orbthe wall..

Try wiping battery stats :3

if you lock the phone at 1.8 then you can actually drain the battery fate than it can charge

Are you using the LG charger that came with it? I as using my blackberry charger for awhile because it has a longer cord but one day it just stopped charging. It would show it as charging but battery was going down. Also if the battery is hella hot it would do that too. I would turn down the cpu clock.
