Root Battery problem??

My phone keeps freezing/lagging temporarily only when my phone is charging. I have tried underclocking, 4 different roms including half-ass. Also, music skips badly when it is plugged in but is perfect when unplugged. Any ideas on whether this could be a battery problem or something else?

You might go ahead and get an extra battery from Amazon. Think they're like 7 or 8 bucks. Test it and let us know!
