Help Battery Problem

So, I have an interesting problem. Lately my battery has been dying within three hours of being unplugged. I am using the extended battery, and this happens with no apps running. I have been dealing with it, because I'm getting a new phone within a couple weeks. However, I noticed something odd about the charging. My phone was at 5%. I watched 20 minutes of a movie, and it was at 15%. Not unusual. Then, a friend called. Still charging, I spoke to the friend for about five minutes. Checked battery life, and it is now at 100%. Is there a fix for this? I could go back to the stock battery, especially for only two weeks, but I'd rather keep my extended.

You could run in Safe Mode (disabling the apps you added without uninstalling them) and if the condition stopped it was caused by an app that you added.

I got a replacement standard OEM battery on Amazon for $12 plus $3 shipping. I use the Bionic for testing and it is rock solid again.

I decided to switch to the original battery that came with the phone, and I only lost 20% at work. It definitely was the extended battery dying. Well, it lasted nearly the entire life of the phone, just one month shy. Not bad.
