Root Battery problems, possibly relating to CM7?

Im running the newest release of CM7 on my prevail, and it seems like it may be causing some battery issues with my phone, but im not sure if they're related. It seems like my phone doesn't want to get over 20% of a full charge, and according to a battery monitor app, will get up to around 300/1500 mAh of a full charge. This 20% of battery lasts, in most cases, <1 hour while doing nothing but listening to pandora with the screen off and no other apps running in the background. Is anyone else experiencing things like this, or am I alone?

if you think it is CM you should install CTMod or some stock ROM and see if the problem persists, and post your results

I completely wiped my phone after that post and installed CTMod. Since then, my phone has been in airplane mode, everything turned off, no apps running, pretty much as bare and basic as it gets charging. Battery is at 48%.

Another bug I was having with CM7 was trying to use my wifi connection. When using the market, it goes around the wifi, so to say, and uses the 3G connection instead. Once I exit the market, it would reconnect to wifi, and would even use wifi in the browser.

To put this in to relation with other charging times, How long does it normally take everyone else to charge their battery from 0-100%?

I think I may have found the problem... go to settings > cm7 settings > performance > cpu settings and change the cpu settings from performance to ondemand...

the performance mode leaves the cpu running at full power at all times....
