Help Battery Problems

Ok,

I was on the phone with CS because my phone was not downloading MMS pictures, videos, etc. CS told me to remove my battery while the phone was on and that would clear all malfunctions, or supposed to. They said, and I quote, "Remove the battery, reinstall, reboot, and give us a call back." I did said procedure, after reinstalling the battery....wait just wait....I reinstalled the battery and went to reboot the phone.......


NOTHING IS FRIGGIN HAPPENING!!!!!!.

The battery had 98% battery life....now its acting like theres nothing there. I also hooked it up to a charger....NOTHING!!!!!! Has anyone had this problem before? i have never, in my life, had this happen to any phone before so i am confused. I am about to head to cricket and find out WTF is going on. Will keep you all posted as this exciting story develops.

Welcome to the forums! I haven't heard of this exact problem, but a lot of people are having problems with MMS since the Muve music update. Pulling the battery will only fix it temporarily, if at all, anyway. Good luck with Cricket, and let us know how things turn out.

Turns out, My phone had just taken a dump. Only had the phone for 5 months and it quit working. Just did a warranty exchange and everything is fine. Although my data signal is jumping around and sometimes it'll say that I'm roaming when im at work. And then sometimes it'll drop down to 1x then after about 10 minutes it'll jump back up to 3G. The guy at Cricket said it has something to do with Huawei and that even his does it.

But anyway, crisis averted.

Cool. Glad to hear Cricket didn't give you a hassle about exchanging it. Still seems strange that it crapped out right when you did the battery pull. I think the Muve ROM is temperamental lol.
