Help Battery question

My lockscreen says the battery is fully charged but the battery icon still has the lightning bolt thru it, its been fully charged for about an hour. i was just wondering if this is normal or is the lightning bolt supposed to disappear? i'm comming from an incredible where i would go away on full charge. Thank in advance.

think the lightning means it is plugged into a charger, not necessarily charging.

thats what i thought, but it usually goes away when fully charged doesnt it? in my past experience it has. i may be wrong, i've never had a sammy phone before.

Most likely a Ice Cream Sandwich thing then...
