Battery question

Hi all just a quick question, how long should the battery last for after a full charge as i bought my galaxy note on ebay but my battery seems to be draining quickly, not sure if the batteries faulty.

LOL!!! Well, that's the million dollar question, isn't it?

According to Samsung, about 600 hours (I'll save you the time and math - That's 25 DAYS!!! O_o), but the previous poster actually has it right.

Expect about 2 days of MODERATE use. But to that, take into account that playing videos and music, running apps, making calls, your phone syncing your accounts (E-mail, Facebook, etc) and powering the unit on and off, all take up battery life.

Thank you for the replies, I'm very certain then my battery is 100% is faulty since my phone can't last over 6 hours considering I'm not syncing or using the phone at all

Batteries are cheap on Ebay, amazon. I would order one with a wall charger and have a spare battery around.

I have seen some on Ebay, up to 3000+ mAh. Stock is 2500mAh. One day I will go for one.

It seems that in order to make the battery last, you have to turn all the cool stuff either off or right down.
I have my screen as bright as it goes, my Wifi on permanently and when in the car I have the bluetooth on and GPS.
My phone is rarely far from a charger so in the car, at home and in the office, it is plugged in. When I'm in the pub with Data enabled, I reckon the battery lasts about 6 hrs.
These guys that get 2 days use out of a single charge.... I'm sorry but those guys are not enjoying the Note for what it was designed for.... ;)

That's true. When I'm camping, I can make the phone last for days on airplane mode. But you're right, all the nice widgets and live wallpapers and stuff eat battery really fast. I was contemplating getting one of those batteries with the gigantic covers that's like 5000 mAh. But this thing is a tank already and I would lose my otterbox commuter case.

It's all about finding a balance that works for you. If you are away from a power source for most of the day then maybe a power hungry smartphone isn't right for you. Something more basic and less resource intensive might be better.
I'm fortunate I think, I very rarely run out of juice and I batter my device but it's usually plugged in :D
