Help Battery question

xeRicker

Lurker
Is worth it to buy a new battery beacuse the current one is terrible. I have turned off screen brightness, wifi and other draining battery things. My phone is rooted samsung galaxy s3 mini and samsung 1500mah battery.

Just look at upladed screenshots.

G stands for hours, m for minutes and s for seconds.

Welcome to our AndroidForums, xeRicker :).

Well, if your battery is more than a year old then you will definitely see some improvement/difference in a new battery vs. an older one. I've no idea how much a replacement battery would cost though (if you do get one, I would recommend an OEM one so that you know it has all of the safety features / circuitry, etc.), so being worth it is pretty subjective.

Your mileage will vary, of course, given your usage, etc...

The battery to a phone is like the engine to a car, so I hold battery performance very high on my list of important things for a phone. I would definitely invest in a second battery if I were you and keep the old one charged to use as a spare. Crappy battery life can really cut down on your enjoyment of a phone for sure!
