Help Battery/Root/Backup Questions

Hi guys how are you? Im having a few questions that I want to ask and I tried looking around but im still a bit iffy.

1. I need a longer battery, mine only lasts 6 hours the stock battery and thats if i turn off data... I need something that can last me the whole day.

2. I want to back up 1-2 apps on my phone, Such as Valkyrie Crusade which is a game that connects to the internet.. I wanna keep my castle ><. After backing up I want to unroot my phone and do a factory reset. is this possible?

3. After doing all of that I want to update my phone to the latest firmware (unless if it will make my phone slower...) then re-root my device. so.. i guess im asking here if i should actually update my phone firmware and re-root with that firmware...

do whar rhino said but Ill just make it easier. Titanium Backup will backup your apps with the data so your progress wont be lost and you can just do the unbrick method using the latest firmware and once thats done you can re-root
