Battery saving tips for the meantime please

I finally just got the EVO!!! Yay,awesome phone,trash battery but i did just order the extended battery so in the meantime is there any battery saving tips that anyone has? Ive done the whole screen brightness and task killer bit and pretty much every tip i have heard so far..Bluetooth off,wifi off etc...

Just wondering if maybe someone has a tip i havent heard yet,something hidden in the device maybe?

I get 12 to 18 hours on one charge. I set my email (2 accounts) to update hourly, gmail is pushed, weather is updated hourly, brightness is at 80% (auto works good too), screen time out at 2 mins, 3G and GPS are Always on. Not sure if im missing anything, but these are the big battery hogs.
