Guys...Just got a Galaxy Note II...Noticed that on an average 1 gig RAM is always used...Is this common or should I keep killing tasks and stopping services...am I missing anything here...I am worried that this would affect my phones Battery life..
 
That sounds pretty normal to me. I use on average between 800mb - 1.5gb ram depending on what I'm doing. I don't use a specific task killer but do clear Ram now and again. The battery on the note 2 is pretty damn good. So far today I've been browsing and gaming on and off for about 10 hours and its still on just under 50% again I find that's quite normal.
 
Do you have battery saver on? I've turned mine on today but heptic feedback is still on as I type this.

What's average time people are getting from their note 2s between charges?
 
Yes..Batterry saver is on...Avg memory usage is around 800-900 Mb...I have had the device up for 2 days now and still 20% left...took some 10 calls..2-3 mins avg per call...40 photos with 8 mp resolution...15 mins HD Video Recording...1 hr Wifi usage..30 mins Bluetooth usage...So this seems good right ?
