Help Battery shot?

I've had my LG Volt for a few months and haven't had any issues. Recently my battery life has been pretty bad and now my phone won't take a charge while my battery is in my phone. However it does charge if I put my brothers battery in my phone so I know the issue is the battery and not the phone itself. Also my brothers phone will not charge if I place my battery in it. Anyone else have this happen and know a fix?

Call your carrier.
I know on a previous phone I had the battery went bad, called virgin mobile and the sent me a new one. It was within a year of purchasing the phone...HTC evo v

Sounds like your battery went bad... Talk to wherever you got it for an exchange. Should be under warranty.

Thanks for replying guys. I purchased the phone from RadioShack for about $40 but I didn't buy the warrenty with it. Do you think they still might replace it?

I would call Virgin, the warranty with Radio Shack probably only covered exchanges for the first couple weeks, Virgin covers the phone for a year after purchase no matter where you bought it. I had an LG optimus V replaced after 9 months that was having antenna problems. I had purchased the phone at Radio Shack or Target?
