Battery Storage

So I bought an extended battery for my Gnex. What would be the best way to store the OEM battery, so that I might still be able to use it in the future. And does anyone know how long I would be able to store it for?

Have the battery at about a 40% charge and putting it in the refrigerator in a place it will stay clean and dry (perhaps putting it in a plastic bag). A temperature close to freezing is ideal but you do not want the battery to freeze (a freezer is too cold). link

use it! Buy a external charger for it, swap batteries out from full to empty, this probably gets you max battery life for both and gets you twice the battery usage each day (or as needed!) I have been doing duely batteries for years and love it!

Thanks for the info. Gonna wrap it up in saran wrap, and put it somewhere, out of the way, in the fridge.

Aren't you worried about wear and tear on the back clips, from removing and replacing it constanly? I've only had my back off my Nexus a few times since I got, and it doesnt seem like it would stand up to being removed, every day.
