Battery sucking apps

Ive had android phones for over a year now, and one concern i always have is battery life. 16 hours of heavy usage is all I ask. Wifi, bluetooth, 4g, gps are all off. But for some reason my shift is only pulling 5 to 6 hours. I fear I may have a bad app or something. Is there a way to find out which apps are using the most battery? Maybe an app to display that stuff? Any help would be appreciated.

Alright, so i just figured out that htc sense has a basic version of what im looking for, that helps, but i need something more specific

Spare parts will help you determine if there is a rogue app. You can download it from the market. Heavy use = 2.5 hrs of battery life for me (constant use.) With moderate use, I can get 12 hrs out of it.

And, you will never get 16 hrs worth of heavy use out of an android phone, unless you get a bigger battery.

I usually like lower end phones, such as the optimus, which I had previously and I loved the battery. I would get 16 hours minimun easily. Guess I pay a price for a faster phone.

What about an extended battery? Whats the biggest out there without adding a new back to the phone? Also, can anyone provide a link to where i could buy one?

You should ensure that under your Apps, the Google Talk/TALK program signed off and you uncheck the automatic sign in feature.
