Hello everyone, I recently bought S2 GT-19100i now i need good battery which doesn't require any sort of big casing. I think 2000mAh is fine but i need some advice from users.

Thanks.

There are a couple of larger batteries out there around the 1800 - 1900 mAh mark that don't require a bigger case - I cant remember the name but a popular one is coloured green white and blue beginning with A.
At the time I was looking however there were reports of these non-official batteries exploding in chargers and not providing any noticeable life improvement for the price.

Appart from that others will add thickness.

The official 2000mAh Samsung battery which gives you a Extra 25% or so but comes with a different case that adds a few mm to the thickness which looks reasonable. ... Samsung Galaxy SII (S2) Official Extended Battery - YouTube

I have seen one on Ebay which is not official one but it comes without casing i mean it doesn't require any casing.

I will go for the official one but looking for 50% extra time, is there any official samsung battery available which gives 50% extra time?

Hi, I think the guy above is thinking of the andida batteries which i personally have used and seem to be very reliable and offer as close to possible there 2000mah recommendation, you wont get 50% more battery life as its physically impossible for the size but the andia batteries will offer a bit more than other cheaper alternatives:
There is this seller on ebay:
Andida Battery For Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 2000Mah Replacement High Quality! | eBay

Or online:
Galaxy S2

I think its the same seller so price is the same, Hope this helps!

yes, exactly this one i was talking about... i think i should go for this one still better than the original 1650mAh one.

Thanks everyone i really appreciate.

I got the official 2000mAh and it's great, I got the battery charging box aswell so I use one in the phone while charging the other.

After 3 hrs and 10 mins of playing music while in airplane mode, battery only down 4%.

That's it! Anker is the name! Like I said they seem to be the highest rated ogre 3rd party batteries however some did have issues. They are the biggest mAh you can get before a new case is needed.

The official 2000 one looks good however and the slight adjustment on the case usnt too bad. It will give you 25% more power.
