Help battery temp?

well i got this new dx and im trying not to be too particular with it but the battery gets HOT!!! it says it gets around 110*F when im downloading something. is that normal? my other dx's didnt get that hot. i dont know how hot they got because it was never noticeable. during normal use this dx stays around 97*F

I wasn't in a place that had wifi. But I shouldn't have to use wifi

are you running some sort of task killer? with my experience with task killers which i no longer use, they can tend to make your phone get hot.

at least i think that "may" be true. for the very short amount of time i used task killers i noticed my phone was getting hotter than usual but after i stopped it never gets warm or hot.

Install Watchdog and it should let you know what app is abusing the cpu.

Run the phone in safe mode then report the temp. Also what's the idle temp? 110f seems high for simply downloading.

mine is downloading all of my apps over (bad) 3G signal while plugged up and charging, and my batt temp was 38C, which is like 100F.

i have had mine at 114 a fair amount and its still running fine. overclocked @1.3

No I didn't have task killer installed. I do use task killer but only when an app freezes up. I was downloading different roms. It was so hot to the touch i wouldn't have answered a call. But after the first day it hasn't gotten that hot. Weird.
