Help Battery usage while sleeping

Took my Hudl into store for a different problem for which they recommended removing my Smart battery app.
They said no such apps were needed as battery on sleep would last 10 weeks !
Within 3 days left alone it was down below 20%.
So were they kidding ?

Also, why is there no option to show a battery % like there is on my phone ?
(Hence separate app needed)

I don't think they were kidding, just very, very misinformed. 10 days if all radios were turned off and it wasn't used, but 10 weeks is impossible.

The Hudl is basically stock Android, not skinned like your phone (I presume you're talkiing about the S3 listed in your profile info) and with stock Android, there isn't an option to add a percentage unfortunately.

My advice would be if you want to use one of those apps and want the percentage shown, just keep using the app.

You only need to swipe down from the top right of the screen and the battery percentage is there.Adding another battery monitoring app is just going to use more of the battery
