Help battery widget that doesn't drain battery?

Anybody know a simple battery widget that doesn't drain battery?

I wan't just that, an icon showing the battery % left, nothing more. I don't need it to show when the screen is turned off/locked or the phone is in standby/sleeping.

I looked a few applications on the market but all had reviews these drained the battery, I can't understand why a battery widget would do so unless it prevents the phone from sleeping.

I realized it is the same author of the Quick Settings widget. Then I realized Quick Settings already displays battery info in the upper right corner only I hadn't noticed it. So will just do with Quick Settings.
