Help battery!!!!!!

Hi. My phone has lost so much battery in a short period of time. it seems so drastic to me. feel as if its a battery problem. heres the figures. was at 100%. 4h30mins later with constant use an wifi im down at 39%. is that normal? or is my battery kapoot? cheers.

Not necessarily. It may just be the way android is obtaining the battery status.
You may just need to recalibrate your battery.

Download battery calibration app from the market and give that a go

I have done the battery in 5 hours today too. It's the only real downside of the phone, and as I said many times, whats the point of having such a great phone if you can't use it?

dont cry here. battery is very good, once u have 2.3.4 and turned off all unnecessary apps in background. i can do at least 24 with medium to heavy use on standard battery.

updating the firmware on your phone isnt tampering with it, kies has official updates to 2.3.4 which do increase the battery life,

however doing the battery calibration does help the battery a lot because the stats it uses could be out of date and turning your phone off when the battery is not actually dead, and to do that you DO need to root, and if you do that you my as well use titanium backup to freeze other apps that run on the side like wifi sharing which do kill your battery a lot
