Help battery

So the battery on the Vivid is horrible.... I had the Motorola Atrix before this phone and it would last me all day. This battery dies quickly even without being used. For example, since 7:00 am this morning (now 11:00 am) my battery is down to 63% after 3 short phone calls and 5 to 6 text messages... Anyone else think the battery drains to quickly? Is there a solution? I also have wifi bluetooth turned off.

Mine last me a full work day from 6am to 6pm.

Mine is lasting at least 12 to 14 hours daily.Try running it completely dead several times then give it a full charge to cycle the battery.Also check your account and sync and make sure your not syncing your email/weather/facebook/twitter/news/stocks/HTC sense accounts etc."Too often".This will help a lot..I set all mine to update when opened on the accounts that have this option.I also try not to do a lot of downloading during work as this will drain it quickly.Updating apps will also put a drain on it faster.

I took mine off charge at 7:30 am and i done quite a bit of surfing/updated 2 apps/watched several videos/done about 20 text and a couple phone calls and its now 10:45 pm and my battery is at 15%.

That's seems bad.....could be a battery issue.
