Root BB 0.6.2.1 alternatives?

Hey I was wondering if there are any ROMs out there similar to BB 0.6.2? Basically a Gingerbread themed froyo ROM? I like BB but it seems to really climb up in CPU temperature (100F) when multitasking for a short period of time (Facebook, installing/removing an app) so i want to try a different ROM.

If you know of any, please let me know. Would CM 6.0 be one of them?

I think CM 6 is though I think the most recent version is 6.2 though I am not certain. Check out their webpage and it should have screenshots of it.
 
^thanks, checking it out now

btw, changed from the uLv to a Lv kernel and it seems to keep the CPU temps much lower
 
Also give Project Elite v4.2 a try. It is a Froyo based ROM with lots of Gingerbread goodies and its super stable and super smooth!
