Root BB V.4 Screen Acting Crazy

I'm running BB V.4 and have tested it with both chevy's lowv and low kernels and different speeds and keep having the same problem. A few times a day my screen jumps around like crazy like it's been taken over by someone else. It openes a ton of apps and drags down and back up the notification bar. I pull the battery and let it sit for a minute, but that is only a temp fix. I'm running launcher pro also, FYI.

I wonder if it's a memory leak somewhere. I'd like to move to CM RC3 to be honest, but it's a work phone and I don't want to be out of commission for longer than I have to. Flashing is simple enough, but wiping and restoring data is tedious for me.

Is your phone plugged in when this happens?
 
I think I was able to fix this issue by taking a Magnet and placing it on certain paces on the screen see below, for my crude diagram
the "x" is where i placed the magnet

i know it looks weird but it seemed to work
I also put it on the back by the camera
