Help BBC iPlayer Help

Hey guys and girls. I've searched and didn't find my exact problem. So thought I'd ask here. Whenever I try to run the BBC iPlayer on my phone I get told "Phone not supported".

Here are my specs:
Phone - Unlocked Samsung Vibrant
ROM: Team Whiskey NextGen 1
FIRMWARE: 2.2
KERNAL: 2.6.32.9
ADOBE FLASH: 10.1

I actually DOWNGRADED my adobe flash to 10.1 since that's what the website says that it works with. I still get told my device isn't supported. Any ideas? Please and thank you.

When I try to use the App - it shows the preview photo of the show then goes black where the video should be and nothing shows up.

I'm getting the "phone not supported" on the webpage.

I've done a bit of reading and the iplayer app appears to only be supported on handsets in the UK.

I would presume there are similar restrictions placed on videos on the webpage too.

When I go to https://market.android.com/details?id=bbc.iplayer.android
I get told
This app is incompatible with your Samsung SGH-T959.


so I'm assuming that's why I can't get it too work, even though my phone meets all the requirements according to BBC iPlayer - Help - Can I access BBC iPlayer on my mobile phone?
