Help BBC Iplayer post 3.1

Hi, prior to the update of 3.1 I was able to use BBC's excellent I Player. However having updated the Xoom it no longer works with a message of its not supported on my mobile!
Any ideas? On a seperate issue what does USB hosting allow?
