Be careful! Get a Rockchip Tablet or Get out!

So, how good/bad is the one I just picked up cheap? I haven't been able to figure out if it can be upgraded to Android 2.0 yet.

Processor: ARM926EJ-S rev 5 CPU Processor frequency: 1.2 GHz
RAM: Fast EPC DDR 128MB
ROM: 2GB (2GB - 16GB optional)
Standard T-FLASH card slot; supports up to 32GB
Google Android 1.6 operating system

Its been a while. I'm active on some other sites. Since, I posted I have bought
a Eken M001 (runs well with upgrades) Apad, G10 and G11
While the Rockchip is a better processor the Via is fine.
Key is the upgrades. One being sold by Mp4 Nation.net shown in
several videos has a Android version that is optimized for Rockchip


Many of you know that Maylong is being sold by Walgreens - on-line.
$129.00 isn't too bad. Via chip set however but with 256 ram.
So what is my opinion of the 'best' pad? Those on a budget consider the pads
being sold at Mp4 or other sites. They work well with the OS upgrades and Roms.

If you have the cash consider the new Samsung Galaxy pad or the Cruz
tablel or the Archos Pads. The most important part for me. Is
build quality. Chip to a degree and the way Android works on the devices.
Better hardware isn't always the ticket. Google problems with the Wits A81 e.
It was designed to really run with Windows CE from what, I understand and
its been the developers who have solved many of its issues. Not the makers.
