Accessories Bean Bag mount for Droid X Car Mount

I do not like windshield suction cup mounts when using a GPS in my car.

I always used a dashboard beanbag mount with my Garmin GPS.

I just bought the Droid X Car Mount and I can now use my Garmin beanbag with it by inserting the ball joint into the back of Droid X car mount - fit's perfectly.

Another Droid X household hint! :)
 
Excellent! Thanks for the info. Will be of good news to those of us in California who can receive a ticket for mounting anything on the windshield.

Used to be. Now we can only stick something in the lower right or lower left corners of the windshield. Nothing in the center.

Yes. I was warned during one of the mass sobriety checks (another curious practice). I asked, and it's ok to put something on the dashboard, but not to affix it to the windshield. Go figure.
 
Yeah, much better to have something fly at you from the dashboard on a curve. ;)

mahers, not that I live in CA, but I heard you could put something within the top 6 inches of the windshield as well. You may want to check that out though.

I am not familiar with the garmin beanbag...I looked it up but not picturing the Droid X car mount attaching. Can you post a pic? Thanks

I need help in Charlotte, NC. There are a million DroidX car mounts out there; which one will work with my Garmin bean bag mount (which I LOVE). If you would provide a link or picture, it would sure help my shopping! Thank you!
