Beats Audio and rooting

Newbie here with a question. If I unlock my Rezound and root it, Can I just remove all of the unwanted junk on the phone without loosing the beats audio?

I'm pretty sure that if I install a new rom that it will be gone, correct?

I was wondering the same thing, I hope someone will answer this. I'm also curious if after rooting, the beats software can be modified so it can be used in every aspect of audio played on the phone. I'd love to use beats with Pandora, YouTube, etc.

I believe you will still have beats audio, but only in the music app like stock. I think there are some roms that will let you have it all the time, but i'm not sure. You can also download dsp manager to make it as good or better than beats.

I'm rooted and I still have beats with the HTC music app. I also have the "Music" app from the market that doesn't have beats. But you can always download "equalizer" or the app the previous poster mentioned. These apps work with all music apps.
