Beats Audio DSP with Power Amp

I submitted a feature request on the Power Amp forum asking if there are plans to integrate support for the Beats DSP into future versions of Power Amp.

Here is the reply I received:

Absolutely. As soon as this API is published, I will start adding it and I hope this won't take much time.

Nice. I prefer PowerAmp over stock, there just so many more options. Thanks for update. With the different equalizers already on PowerAmp you can almost replicate the sound of Beats by Dre.

I use power amp and I think the eq setup is actually more capable then the beats setting. I love power amp

I believe that it is DSP via hardware with a software interface, but there is conflicting information in most of the articles I've read.

I've read about other devices that had Beats DSP, and those devices had a actual dashboard, not just an on/off toggle. Once the API gets released who know what we'll end up with?
