It's the typical eq S curve many people do. I can't seem to find the article where they showed the actual measurements how the bottom and top were boosted. If I find it I'll post it, its out there somewhere though. I would try something like the typical "Rock" setting in most 5 band eqs for something close
Thanks I should have included I've been using the Rock setting and it's great on the Equalizer app. Using the Rock setting as starting point, I've tweaked the levels slightly but can't seem to get it sounding as good as Beats.
I have four different headphones/buds. Each have their own sonic signature. One might be peaky and the other bass heavy. I don't bother with beats because what you are hearing is a combination of the ear speakers own sonic signature along with the sonic vision of the studio mixer and artist. Why equalize it again. Unless of course you are listening to Dr. Dre music with Dr. Dre ear speakers. Then again does Dr. Dre music come pre equalized, lol.
