I'm looking for something that is more of a system wide EQ setting.
I don't really like DSP manager because it sucks compared to PowerAmp's EQ.
I just want that "Beats" tab to be able to be enabled on PowerAmp in AOSP.
I don't care what anyone says. It worked magic and made my music sound better.

You might try volume + in the app store. It has volume boost and bass boost and 1-5 band equalizer and has presets like beats emulator and it is system wide. Although on the meanrom I'm using it currently isn't changing my sound for google music or poweramp although it did on my stock phone. And. Also I have been getting distortion with volume. Boost on this Rom while before I didn't. I believe the app is only a few bucks. You should try it.
