Root beatsAudio

I used it but kept getting fc errors with dsp and live wallpapers, but I flashed mobsters tweaks with bravia ,and sounds just as good if not better than beats also have beats audio player installed looks good and puts beats icon in status bar, so thanks g60 and mobster
 
there is a beats audio installer on the play store. works with 90%devices worked for me sound is crisper the with dsp manager but i would recommand rocket player for audio play back...
 
beats audio is not really a gimmick. its based on your headphones. beats audio is also to promote their own line of earphones/headphones. my cousin has the htc one x (great phone) which has beats audio integrated. i used my ibeats (yes i have beats headphones) and by turning on and off beats audio, i heard major i mean MAJOR improvements in my earphones. bass was a lot louder and the singer's voice was more clear. everything was clear compared to no beats audio. also what made it better was dsp manager. dsp manager is compatible with beats audio with the right files. on my mt atm it sounds amazing, but not as amazing as it did with htc one x. probably our audio engine or watever is not as good as theirs. i hear a major difference between MT and the One X both with beats but ofc on the MT it was ported.

its not just an apk file or a file. its multiple files. to find out which files it is, look in the zip u flashed. the easiest way is to reflash ur rom. if u dont want to reset everything, just wipe cache and dalvik and flash rom with gapps to get rid of beats audio :)

Side note, you will lose any themes, kernels, ect if you so this. They will need to be reflashed.
