Help Beautiful Widgets and weather animations?

The newest version of Beautiful Widgets has an animate on the home screen setting under the advanced options. What I don't get is when I unlock my phone, I do get the animation but then I am in the settings window right away for some reason. Anyone know what I'm talking about or if you can have the animate on unlock without being directed to the BW settings?
 
Any updates....I'd like to see the weather animation work similar to the way it did on HD2... I want the animated weather to run on top of my current home screen

Yeh I'm disappointed in this. I want an animated widget like HTC has. Even my jailbroken iPhone has an awesome animated, and accurate, weather widget. Beautiful widgets isn't even accurate for conditions (storming like crazy outside and it says partly cloudy)
 
It does show the weather animations if you enable it. Home Settings - Advanced -> Check "Unlock Animations".

And you can switch it between google and accuweather. I believe the htc default uses google, could be wrong on that though. Mine is always accurate as long as I update it. It doesn't always update unless you have it set to, but that drains battery pretty quick.

Hmm i'll have to try it again maybe, I did that and all it did was for example at night, the moon would pop up and that was it, no clouds moving, or rain etc like HTC has or the widget on my iPhone has.
 
I hope someone can help. After looking around for a long time for a weather widget that would work on our Elocity A7 tablet, I finally found one (I think) - Beautiful Widgets.


Now when I turn on the A7, the screen says "Download Required - Beautiful Widgets needs an addonpackage from the Android Market for the forecast animations. You will be directed to the Market so you can start the download. Do you want to proceed now?" When I click YES, it states "Sorry, the application Beautiful Widgets (process.com.levelup.beautifulwidgets) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I then I have to click on "Force close" to get rid of the notification.
Does that mean BW will not work on this Elocity A7?
My WiFi is turned on and working.
And here I thought we found the widget that we could use.
I didn't get this BW app from the Market. I got it from Getjar which is the only similar app down-loader on this Elocity A7. Maybe that is why I cannot get the download referred to in the pop-up window (animation). Isn't there anything I can do? I don't believe I can load/install Market on this Elocity A7.
Hope someone can help.
