Help Beautiful Widgets animation & skins

I've just purchased BW and upon initial set up, it gives the pop up about downloading animations. When I click 'okay' it just sits on 0%. The longest I've left it to keep trying is 5 min before I hit cancel.

I then try to look at the skins. I press the download skins tabs, the wheel thing spins for a bit and when it stops, there are no skins.

I've tried rebooting several times. My wi-fi is on and working fine. I've got about 20mb free on international memory.

I've searched this forum and found one person with similar problem but no solution was posted.

The app description does say they are working on skin server issues but I didn't realize the problem could be as big as not being able to access any skins at all.

Am I doing something wrong or is it genuinely a server problem. Those of you with BW, are you able to get new skins?

Yeah I just downloaded it again, after reinstalling the new Apex v. 1.3.0 and am experiencing the same problem. I have encountered numerous issues before with BW and would consider this normal. I suggest trying again later.

It's usually fine for me.

Just tested. Does the "loading skins" bit, then the list is empty.

Thanks, guys! I don't mind waiting out a server issue. I'm just glad I wasn't making a silly settings mistake or doing it completely wrong having never used it before.

I'll keep trying through the day. I hope there is a Christmas skin in there!

its working fine for me, though I just dloaded an add-on from applanet which adds animations to the widgets but I cant see any diff???

The update in market mentioned something about skins beingdownloaded from market rather than app so I guess this bypasses their server hosting issues
