Beautiful Widgets weather not updating

I dunno what setting I tweaked or killed, but the temperature hasn't updated in a few hours though I have it set to update every 15 minutes. I checked a bunch of settings all around but can't seem to find out what's going on. Any advice?

Also is there a way for the widget (beautiful smaller home) to source weather data from the stock htc weather app? I thought I had it selected to launch weather when I tap the weather info in the widget, but that still launches the beautiful weather screen. Conversely when I tap the date and time I'm taken to the respective stock apps like I want.

My understanding is that the setting for launching a weather app only happens when you tap on the forecast screen in the BW weather screen that pops up. I don't know of a way of going directly to it from the widget. Also, I don't know where BW gets its weather data from (I think via WeatherChannel, but I'm not certain), but the source may be experiencing issues (happens a lot to me if I have something that pulls the data from the airport closest to my house - it's not really a reliable source).
 
I'm near Detroit, Michigan. I think the weather is from the Weather Channel. I've had WC as a widget on droid for months, and recently it's been draining the battery so badly I've removed it. Don't know if it's a WC problem and beautiful widgets is also suffering??
 
Same here in Modesto, CA, I happened to look at saw a temp of 72. Thought that was a little cool for this time of the day here where it is usually about 90+. :D The weather wigdet that comes with the EVO seems to be working fine for me.
 
Same problem, I'm in Minneapolis. I would love to know where it gets the weather info from. It doesn't always match my weather bug elite temp in the notification bar.
 
Mine has been wonky for the last couple days too. I keep fiddling with settings and doing multiple refreshes, and sometimes it eventually updates, but there seems to be no consistent relationship to my settings. I have Weatherbug set to open from the BW weather screen, and it seems like WB knows my location but BW doesn't - either it's stuck someplace I left hours before or it's gone to the default location that it's only supposed to use if it can't get a fix.

Here's a somewhat related question that has been bugging me: In the auto-sync settings, do the weather sync settings only apply to the Sense weather app, and is it safe to leave it unchecked if using BW and WeatherBug or Weather Channel instead? Seems like the answer should be yes, but I'd like to make sure.

Edited to add: You know, I used to use a Palm app with a desktop end that would automatically pick up weather info from the Yahoo Weather site during hotsync and feed it to my device. Every time Yahoo Weather got a particularly slow-loading ad on their page, my weather sync would stop working...gotta wonder if something similar is going on here...

The BW widget is actually stuck on all the exact same stats as my iGoogle widget...temp, wind, humidity, high/low temp, conditions... Guess that answers where BW is pulling the data from. Maybe also dictates that it's a Google issue?

Me too. After reading this thread I can only assume whatever site the data is sourced from must be having issues. Hopefully it will resolve itself soon.
