Beautiful Widgets Wrong Location

Hi All

The widget keep telling me that I'm in Queenstown NewZealand.
I'm in Brisbane Australia!!!
so I get the wrong weather and time on the widget.
It has been doing this the for a while not just the current update.
Have cleared cache/uninstalled/reinstalled/wiped data etc..
Deleted all locations and reset geolocations and for a while all good, then wrong location again.

I know there's other apps out there, but I like this one and paid for it.

Any Ideas please?

Pep

Contact the developer. There's a database somewhere (his, some weather reporting company's, something) with the lat/lon vs. the city. And it's wrong. So when the weather widget asks a weather server (like Yahoo) for the weather, it asks for the weather in the wrong city.

The time is another matter. The phone should be showing the time being reported by the cell tower you're connected to. If that 11:33 AM (in the picture) is wrong, your carrier is wrong. If it's right, but the widget is claiming it's a different time, it's the widget. Again, if it's the widget, contact the developer.

I was going to say that, to us Yanks, "down there" is "down there", Queenstown, Brisbane, all the same, but we really do know better. (Well, some of us do.)

Think you best contact the dev about it, I know some weather widgets have problems when used outside of the United States. I use AccuWeather myself, which is one of the very few that works properly in China, i.e. getting the correct location and weather.

Thanks Guys.

The time on top right is correct, I'm guessing the widget is showing me the time at that location.
I've emailed the developer with the same question.
