Root Because vanity is important

This weekend, I'm going to go step-by-step and work towards s-off and turning my phone into the evo 3d. I'm worried because it wasn't simple to get root for me.

Here's what I'd like to ask.. Because of vanity. If (or when) I accomplish this mission... for lock screens or calls, will "virgin mobile" still be there for me to read in the status bar?

And yes, I know LeeDroid Tweaks does a couple things, but they don't change that title in those two situations

yes.. virgin mobile will still show up... not sure if you want it or not... but you can turn it off or change it everywhere from leedroid tweaks [even before getting s-off]...good luck with the process... its really not that hard... i got wire trick on my first try.. and i wasn't sure what i was doing... i just started tapping the wire over and over and over even though it only said to tap twice... but i still got it...
 
Leedroid works fine to change carrier label on the lockscreen. Or you can simply hide if you like by checking the box on the next line. Works if you are S-on,
 
I got it to say Sprint on the lockscreen and in the status bar, but for calls it still stays Virgin Mobile. Is there a way to change that? My Evo is branded Sprint so I just like consistency.

Not that I'm aware of, even tried CDMA Workshop to no avail.
