Before I go to sleep tonight....

I will be sure to say a prayer that this EVO is everything that everyone wants it to be and that there are no hiccups...anything less and there will be wailing and nashing of teeth and possible mass suicides...I'm trying to remember if the Iphone hype was this huge.

I'm with ATT and have an Iphone and a BB. I think I'm going to wait until later this summer and see what the new iphone has to offer before I switch. To be honest I think the bigger cause for me switching carriers would be the phone plan and not the phone. I've had so many phones and I guess after a while the novelty wears off and i'm just back down to talking, texting, and email....which is why I'm using my BB.

Why wait until summer? It gets announced june 7th...

Smaller screen than 3GS, but higher resolution. Has the Ipad cpu, 2 cameras and flash. And of course we know what Iphone OS 4.0 has...What are you expecting it offer?
 
I have that problem solved...I'm not going to sleep tonight.

I'm working third shift for the last couple of weeks (not *that* much of a fanboy). So I'll just be taking a break near the end of my "day" to go to my local Sprint Store at 8AM sharp.
 
No, the iPhone hype was bigger than this. Apple can market things better.....

Not saying the iPhone or Apple is better than the Evo or HTC.
 
I just wish I could get mine early in the am and not have to wait until after work tomorrow :mad: I'm going to have to read everyones posts about there new handset all day long and still not have mine. :(

Hey bro...it's going to be ok...trust me. I'm telling you, sometimes it's better to sit back a little while to see if there are any kinks or bugs that need to be worked out.
 
yea im not sleeping tonight...no work tomorrow and my radio shack opens at 630....pulling out some movies right now

For everyone that's worrying about not getting one, I think between multiple Sprint, Radioshack and Best Buy stores there will be enough for everyone. At least I'm telling myself that as I can't go get one until after work. :(

Oh yeah...I'm gonna sleep comfortably....I have no plans on making a cell decision within the next month but i'll be watching this thread and the iphone news carefully. Sprint has the edge now because the plan is cheaper.

Because we aren't a bunch of hippies sucking off our parents (or the governments) nipples still for the most part... We actually have lives, jobs and families....
 
honestly if the iphone came out on sprint i would def get the iphone over the evo. i like the evo and i like android but they have yet to deliver a polished set of hardware and software like apple has.

oh and ill try to get some sleep tn, going to the sprint store at around 9am for my apt. i have one reserved so..
 
Worst part for me, I have to make it a full day at work, drive an hour home and to the RS around the corner from my place .... It's gonna be a loooooooooooong day at work tomorrow.
