Help Before I update to 2.2

I want to update to.2.2 but I need this question answered


If I knstall the OTA update will it delete anything off my phone or delete any apps or anything I just want.net o make sure before I update

I just updated mine via the OTA update. I do not appear to have lost any data or info at all.

Some PITA issues have been the random switching of ringtones that I previously had assigned to email, texting, phone, etc. Some other minor defaults were changed, but I have since gone back and fixed them.

I've experienced some force close issues...but that seemed to happen shortly after, but not of lately. Not sure why that is.

So for me...it's been ok so far.

It is not supposed to. And in trying to preserve your phone's setup, the update often ends up screwing up your phone. You should make sure your data is backed up, hard reset, update, then hard reset.
