these couple of months i have rooted my NC with a 2GB microSD.
i have not gotten any problem until i have installed a application, and i tried restarting my NC to make the installed app to the extras section and so when it rebooted I was stack ! in the 'n' screen where the copyright is held ..
i cannot get out of there ! help please :(

Moved this to the root section.

You moved an app to "extras" section? I'm not familiar with that one.

Which stock rom are you running?

  1. Latest 1.2 rom with "Read Forever" at startup. Need to have run manual nooter to root that.
  2. Older version which was rooted by auto nooter.

Guess you have a couple options at this point.

  • If you remove your sdcard, are you able to boot? Make sure you give it a couple minutes.
  • IF you made a recovery backup (which I bet you did not), you could restore that to get back up and running
  • You could boot into recovery and format data, which means you lose all your apps/settings (they should download from Market again tho) and you'd have to set up your Nook again.
  • I'm not familiar with the stock rom, but you might be able to reflash the stock rom to repair it. (We'll see if anyone has done that)
  • You might be able to boot off a bootable sdcard and clear cache, dalvik cache and repair it (but I suspect the chances of that are slim).
  • You could install a custom rom like CM7.

I'm not suggesting you do any of these right now. Just throwing it out for discussion. :D
