Help beginners guide

guys,

you lot amaze me with your technical knowledge however a lot of what you talk about goes right over my head!

i wonder if anyone would have the time in their busy day to maybe make a few "beginners" tips or guides for the galaxy

ie, how to add new firmware etc... (every step in the process !)

sorry for being so dumb but i love my galaxy and dont want to be left in the dark lol

You mean like the sticky threads at the top of this forum yes?

i was gonna say, you cannot get much simpler than those guides as they are step by step.
if you find them confusing then i would urge you to use the phone as is.

im not trying to be mean but they are complete walk throughs

Seriously, a thread with a request like yours comes up every week or so. Please, feel free to ask exact questions when something does not work as expected or described in the guides. But to have these questions you'll have to make an effort, do your reading and get started. If you don't start doing something, you'll never understand or strt understanding.

I just want to thank all the hard working boys and girls that create the guides and stickies at the top of this forum and others. That's a lot of work that helps the lesser geeks get a little more fun out of this nice phone. I wonder if the other phone forums have as much support as our Galaxy? I could look I guess but why bother? The Galaxy is great!
