Bell Atrix 2.3 Update out

My Atrix is telling me I'm still up to date running 2.2.2.
How long does this OTA update take to roll out?
 
They actually released the update 3 days ago, but they've been doing a staggered roll out of it so it's slowly progressing to everyone's phones, some a little later than preferred.
I'm actually just downloading it as it became available in my area about 1 hour ago (I live on Vancouver Island, BC)

As for downloading it from an outside source I have not been able to find a site with the firmware on it..
But if they have rolled it out to your original region where you set up your device you should be able to to Settings>About Phone> Check for updates and download it right from there.
 
I downloaded it yesterday.

Everything works great except for my bluetooth music application. I'm unable to use bluetooth audio controls to change tracks.
 
i'm from s.w. ontario & my update popped up on my phone this morning for gb update, looks like 140+mb d/l good thing i have wi-fi at home to d/l it. now will i loose all my photo's,videos,etc if those are stored on the phone when it does the update? i guess i will loose my apps from the market as well?

...and now, of course, my phone is no longer rooted (therefore Titanium Backup Pro no longer works). Does anyone have a link on how to re-root this update? Anything special/spectacular/interesting/"gotcha-esque" we should be on the lookout for?

I haven't had very much time to play with it at all, but I am extremely happy with the new keyboard functionality. I was super-pi$$ed every time I would type a dollar sign ($), an asterix (*), or double-quotes ("), the old keyboard would put those characters at the end of the previous word. Doesn't happen anymore with this update.


Found the answer to my rooting problem here.
 
did my update today took approx 1 - 1.5 hr for the d/l and install over wifi. i like the classic tv off feature they added and you can finally turn off haptic feedback for the 4 buttons!! i thought gb update was going to update to 1080p for the video camera as it's 720p, maybe in a future update?? as the gb update i like it so far.......

Worked just fine. Nothing special, fancy, or "out there" required. Haven't had a single problem with it at all.

...now, if only I could find an updated Titanium Backup list for this GB update.
 
I hate the Gingerbread deal, I don't like the white screens nor do I like the blue hue that I'm forced to look at. The phone performs much better, but simple things like managing a new contact and stuff seems to be far more complicated. Even grouping in the contacts was messed with. I should have never updated the phone.
