Best Android Web Browser?

Chrome. I've tried a bunch and now that Chrome is the default Android browser I don't need to install any extra browser

I have moved this thread to the Android Applications forum since we are discussing web browser apps.

I know a lot of people like Dolphin, personally I like Chrome :)

Give Boat a try.

'Best' is completely subjective since no two people are alike. The most common ones I see that people like is Chrome, Dolphin and Firefox. There will be several other less commonly known ones that you will see. It really depends upon what you need a browser for on your phone. I almost never use my browser because just about everything I do on my phone has an app nowadays that does things better than any website.

All that said, I just surfed a couple threads on the subject and tried just about every browser out there including all those mentioned above. My phone came with Chrome. I ended up going with a browser called Boat. It seemed to work very well with my minimal browser needs.

I really like Chrome but it's basically useless on my phone as it always gets staticy and ruins Web pages, I normally use Boat Browser.

Yes, Boat works best for me, and I, like most here, have been trying a lot of different browsers.

Its bookmarks system and speed are great.. not a lot of what I call "over configuration" to wade through; just enough to please my likes.

At first I wanted Firefox just out of a sort of "continuity" feeling with my laptop.. but that's silly as heck. So, now my tab and Note 2 both have Boat (speaking of silly, what a silly name, "Boat" :D).

Chrome will not work on anything less than 4.0.

I've tried Firefox, Boat, Dolphin and both Opera's.

After all this, I prefer the stock browser. :)

I've tried everything, and in my opinion, dolphin and Firefox beta seem the fastest and most feature rich.

I'm using dolphin because I started using that browser first.

I've tried Dolphin but I prefer Opera. I'm going to give Boat a try.

The browser that works the best is going to be the one that meets all of your personal needs and requirements, regardless of which one is fastest or runs the best. ;)

I've tried just about all of them, and Dolphin seems to be my personal favorite.

Firefox supports flash.

Yes it does along with several others. My point was I use Boat just for flash and I use Maxthon for all other browsing. I wasnt saying that no other browser supports flash. I should have been clearer on my point. I wasnt trying to be misleading.

I like Firefox.. I was into chrome but after switching phones it screwed with my keyboard sooo.. Firefox is the next best and simply does what I need it to do haha

I prefer puffin browser, only one that has everything I need to use on a webpage, especially with flash support. I can say it works the way a desktop browser looks with some add on screen features like mouse and keyboard touch buttons.

I like the speed dial feature of Dolphin and combined with the Dolphin Jetpack, Dolphin is a great browser for me.

I use Dolphin.
Chrome used to FC so often on my phone. I tried it again recently and while it's better than it used to be, it's less reliable than Dolphin.
