Root Best AOSP ICS (JB?) Rom for EVO 4g?

After reading about the difficulty with the last iPhone Jailbreak (Yes go ahead and snear, I have a near-full Apple Media Ecosystem so the iPhone5 fits in better than any android phone does), I'm planning to wipe my EVO tonight and see if it clears up some of the errors (lock screen doesnt respond randomly, Bluetooth fails, random issues with calls (sounds like neither party has but 1 bar of reception, we both hear random syllables instead of an intelligible conversation even when we have full reception - hanging up and calling back one or two times fixes it usually) and, of course, random freezes...)

I'd prefer an ICS or even JB rom, if they will run on the EVO 4G, If not, what's the best GB rom that will include WiMAX? (WiMAX is not vital, but with it only 2 towns away I do use it now and then)

there is the staff picks in the roms section that has some great suggestions.

if you want ics strike is the rom for you. i have not heard of any good jb roms yet but that is what nandroid backups are for. just make a nandroid backup and try them out.

I'm running Strike rom. I like it. A couple things don't work, but they are no big deal for me. (FFC, 4G, Netflix)

I will probably be trying a different JB ROM or (most likely) going back to Strike. That ROM was very smooth and my battery lasted around 29 hours on a single charge.
