Best App Cache Cleaner?

I use "App Cache Cleaner" but i only use the one touch widget, no scheduled wipes.
Peogle may disagree but even on my reasonably spec'd phone running android 4.3, sometimes things, especially the keyboard, feel laggy and tapping that widget fixes it.
Its probably more caused by badly coded apps rather than the OS :)
Cache is important though so thats why i dont use a schedule. Just tap it when i need to

Only useful for phones with very limited storage. I never do anything about caches, haven't for years. I have no problems and it has zero effect on speed.

are you referring to RAM or "SD Card/Internal" storage? i think cache cleaners clean up available RAM too but i could be wrong.

regardless of whether it's RAM or SD/Internal Storage which is being "cleaned" - the question is - are these "cache cleaner" apps effective?

if you clean the cache, does it allow the apps and the launcher, phone, etc. to run faster because there is less data for the app/phone to now push around/thorugh and/or find? kind of like defrag on a PC?

The main value of a cache cleaner IMO is when you have an app with limited storage. I used to have one of those, and would clean caches to keep me well clear of the "low space" warnings. Never saw any other effect.

Very sceptical of "RAM optimisers", as that sounds like another way of saying "task killer".

but ever notice that the browser Chrome on Android or PC (or Internet Explorer, or Firefox) can slow down? and if you clear browsing data the performance really speeds up? i'm wondering if the App has less residual data cache to push through if it optimizes the experience.

So does app cache live in its own partition in internal storage? And why does that effect a running app?
Im not into task killers etc and my phone has plenty ram but i cant ignore that when my keyboard feels less sharp and pics dont load on the AF app, hitting that clear cache widget cures it instantly.
So could i theoretically expand the size of the app cache partition? And would it be pointless because a badly coded app would just fill it up?

I haven't seen that in years. Should not happen on reasonably modern equipment.

history cleaner pro
and uninstaller pro
